SAP PP - MM Support Consultant

Role: SAP PP-MM Support Consultant

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized support for SAP PP (Production Planning) processes, ensuring smooth system operations and assisting users in resolving functional queries.
• Manage and maintain Master Data (BOM, Work Centers, Routing).
• Oversee MRP runs and Production Order processes to ensure production planning accuracy.
• Support Materials Management processes such as procurement and inventory management where required.
• Monitor and troubleshoot integration points between PP and other modules (MM, SD, FI/CO, QM), escalating complex issues when necessary.
• Collaborate with business users to analyze requirements, identify system/process gaps, and recommend improvements.
• Participate in testing activities (unit testing, integration testing, UAT) during upgrades, enhancements, or rollouts.
• Assist in cutover planning and hypercare support to ensure smooth transitions during system changes.
• Contribute to user enablement through knowledge-sharing, documentation, and training on PP/MM processes.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by proactively identifying recurring pain points and suggesting enhancements.
• Provide input into project-related tasks, coordinating with business and technical teams to align solutions with business needs.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in SAP, with strong expertise in PP (Production Planning) and working knowledge of MM.
• Solid understanding of MRP, BOM, Work Centers, Routing, and Production Orders.
• Good knowledge of procure-to-pay and inventory management processes.
• Familiarity with cross-module integration (SD, FI/CO, QM) is highly desirable.
• Experience in support environments (user queries, issue resolution, testing, cutover, hypercare).
• Exposure to project coordination or project management activities is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to engage effectively with business stakeholders.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹1,200,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
