Role Overview

SAP Profitability and Performance Management (PAPM) Consultant

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement

  SAP PAPM solutions

  including:
• Cost and revenue allocations
• Profitability analysis
• Margin and contribution analysis
• Driver-based costing and simulations
• Build and optimize

  PAPM functions, processes, and models

  (Modeler, Viewer, Calculation logic).
• Work on

  data integration

  from SAP and non-SAP sources (S/4HANA, BW, HANA views, flat files).
• Develop and maintain

  PAPM calculation views, allocation cycles, and reporting structures

  .
• Collaborate with finance, FP&A, and controlling teams to align PAPM outputs with business requirements.
• Support

  UAT, go-live, and post-production support

  , including performance tuning and issue resolution.
• Prepare solution documentation, functional specifications, and user guides.
• Participate in client workshops, requirement gathering, and solution walkthroughs

Required Skills & Experience

• Hands-on experience with

  SAP PAPM

  (Modeler, Viewer, and calculation logic).
• Strong understanding of

  profitability management, cost allocations, and financial modeling

  .
• Experience with

  SAP S/4HANA Finance

  is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of

  HANA modeling concepts

  , calculation views, and performance optimization.
• Exposure to

  planning, forecasting, or analytics tools

  (SAC, BPC, OneStream, Anaplan – preferred).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and experience in

  client-facing consulting roles
