SAP MM Professional

To design, implement, support, and optimize SAP MM processes so that procurement, inventory, vendor management, material valuation, and related operations are efficient, compliant, and well-integrated with other modules and business functions.

• Gather business requirements through workshops / meetings with stakeholders (Procurement, Finance, Supply Chain, Warehouse) and translate them into SAP MM solutions.
• Perform As-Is / To-Be process mapping, gap analysis, and propose process improvements / best practices.
• Configure SAP MM module: master data (Material Master, Vendor Master, Info Records, Pricing, Source List), procurement (purchase requisitions, purchase orders, scheduling agreements, contract management), inventory management (goods receipt, goods issue, stock movement types, physical inventory), material valuation, invoice verification.
• Define and configure release strategies / approval workflows for purchasing and PO/PR.
• Handle integration with other SAP modules: SD, FI/CO, PP, WM / eWM, maybe with external systems.
• Prepare functional specification documents for reports, enhancements, interfaces (RICEFW: Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms).
• Lead / participate in data migration: mapping, cleansing, migration tools (LSMW, BDC, etc.).
• Support system testing: unit tests, integration testing, user acceptance testing (UAT). Coordinate with testing teams to ensure all MM functionalities are validated.
• Conduct enduser training, prepare user manuals / process documentation.
• Provide post golive support (hypercare), monitor performance, resolve issues, and implement enhancements.
• Participate in upgrades / rollouts (e.g. from ECC S/4HANA) or localization / compliance changes (e.g. GST, valuation, taxation).
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams and technical teams (ABAP / Basis / Security) to ensure endtoend success.
