SAP MM (Material Management) Consultant

Key Responsibilities

• Lead or participate in

  end-to-end SAP MM module implementations

  , including at least

  one S/4HANA project

  .
• Conduct requirement gathering,

  business process analysis

  , and design MM solutions accordingly.
• Configure SAP MM module including

  Purchasing, Inventory Management, Valuation & Account Determination, Material Master, Vendor Master

  , etc.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (FI, SD, PP, WM) to ensure seamless

  integration

  .
• Support

  data migration

  activities using tools like

  LTMC

  ,

  LSMW

  , or

  BAPIs

  .
• Handle

  issue resolution

  , bug fixes, change requests, and performance tuning.
• Prepare

  functional specifications

  , test scenarios, and conduct unit/integration testing.
• Provide

  end-user training

  and

  documentation

  .
• Support users during

  UAT

  and

  Go-Live

  phases.
• Stay updated with the latest SAP developments and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

• 5 to 7 years

  of experience as an SAP MM Consultant.
• Minimum

  1-2 full lifecycle SAP S/4HANA implementation

  projects.
• Strong understanding of

  SAP MM configuration and customization

  .
• Knowledge of

  Fiori apps

  related to MM and user experience improvement is a plus.
• Experience with

  integration across modules

  (FI, SD, PP, WM).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of

  SAP Activate methodology

  .
• Basic ABAP debugging skills.
• Experience in

  GST, taxation configuration

  , and localization (India-specific settings).
• Exposure to

  Ariba

  ,

  MDG

  , or other SAP add-ons is a plus.
