S/4 HANA MDM Consultant

MDG (Master Data Governance)

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and implementation of

  master data processes

  in SAP S/4 HANA.
• Configure and support

  Business Partner (BP)

  model integrating customer and vendor master data in S/4 HANA.
• Support end-to-end MDM lifecycle including creation, enrichment, validation, and governance.
• Define data standards, naming conventions, and validation rules for master data domains.
• Collaborate with data owners, process leads, and business analysts to ensure master data supports business processes.
• Implement or support

  SAP MDG (on S/4 or standalone)

  for centralized master data governance.
• Participate in data migration activities: mapping, transformation, cleansing, and loading using tools like

  SAP Data Services, LSMW, LTMC, or BODS

  .
• Conduct root cause analysis on data quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Create documentation for data models, processes, and governance policies.
• Support master data cutover, go-live, and hyper-care phases.
• Monitor and ensure data quality through automated validations and reporting.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.

• 5+ years of experience in SAP MDM

  , with at least

  2+ years in S/4 HANA environments

  .
• Deep knowledge of

  master data objects

  : Material Master, Vendor, Customer, Business Partner, and Chart of Accounts.
• Proficient in configuring

  Business Partner master data

  in S/4 HANA.
• Experience with

  SAP MDG

  (Master Data Governance) and associated workflows, rules, and UI enhancements.
• Familiar with

  data migration tools and techniques

  (LTMC, LSMW, BODS, SAP Data Services).
• Strong understanding of

  data quality, cleansing, and governance best practices

  .
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with cross-functional business and IT teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• SAP Certification in S/4 HANA or MDG.
• Experience with

  SAP Information Steward, Data Intelligence, or SAP Analytics Cloud

  for data quality and analytics.
• Prior experience in large-scale SAP transformation or greenfield S/4 implementations.
• Exposure to

  MDM in hybrid landscapes

  (SAP and non-SAP systems).
