As an SAP MDG (Master Data Governance) Functional Consultant, you will play a crucial role in optimizing master data processes for clients, ensuring high accuracy and consistency while meeting their business requirements. Your expertise in SAP MDG will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and supporting effective data governance strategies. Collaborating with clients, you will help establish robust data management practices that align with organizational goals. Your responsibilities will include implementing and customizing SAP MDG solutions tailored to clients" specific needs, assessing and redesigning master data processes for efficiency and compliance, and developing data models and governance frameworks to enhance data integrity. You will also lead engagement workshops to gather requirements, provide guidance and training on data management best practices, and collaborate with technical teams to ensure seamless data integration across SAP platforms. Monitoring data quality and conducting regular audits will be essential to maintaining high standards. To excel in this role, you should hold a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field such as Business or Information Systems and have at least 6-15 years of experience in SAP MDG, including implementation and configuration. Deep understanding of master data management concepts and methodologies, familiarity with SAP modules like SD, MM, or FI in the context of data governance, and strong skills in data modeling and process optimization are required. Exceptional analytical capabilities, attention to detail, and a focus on data quality enhancement, along with strong communication and collaboration skills to engage effectively with various stakeholders, are also essential.
