Job Description

We are seeking an experienced

SAP IS-U Consultant

with deep expertise in the

Utilities domain

to support end-to-end

billing, invoicing, and financial processes

within a regulated and deregulated market environment. The ideal candidate will bring

strong functional knowledge of SAP IS-U

, including

RTP billing, SAP FI-CA, and master data management

, along with a solid understanding of

system integration and business process design

.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Provide in-depth expertise in

    SAP IS-U billing, invoicing, and RTP billing

    within the utilities sector.

  • Support

    SAP FI-CA processes

    , including

    Dunning, Payments, and Returns

    , and ensure seamless

    FI-CA and FI-CO integration

    .

  • Define and support

    solution frameworks, process landscapes, and integration touchpoints

    across SAP modules.

  • Work in both

    regulated and deregulated utility market environments

    , supporting global clients with SAP solutions.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to

    identify business requirements, manage functional design, prototyping, and process mapping

    .

  • Lead or support

    testing, training, and implementation

    phases, ensuring a smooth transition for business users.

  • Provide expertise in

    device management, customer service, and overall IS-U module integration

    .

  • Utilize

    basic SAP ABAP debugging skills

    for troubleshooting and solution optimization (preferred).

  • Apply

    domain knowledge in Electricity, Gas, or Water Utilities industries

    , especially within the

    UK market

    (a plus).

  • Communicate complex concepts effectively and

    adapt solutions to meet business needs

    .


Required Skills & Qualifications:



  • Extensive experience in the Utilities domain

    , particularly with SAP IS-U.

  • Strong knowledge of

    IS-U billing, invoicing, RTP billing, and SAP FI-CA transactions

    .

  • Understanding of

    FI-CA and FI-CO integration

    and

    cross-module dependencies

    .

  • Proven experience in

    business process design, scenario mapping, and requirements management

    .

  • Hands-on experience in

    global utilities market operations

    (regulated and deregulated).

  • Ability to

    troubleshoot and debug SAP solutions

    (basic SAP ABAP knowledge preferred).

  • Strong

    analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

    .
