Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP HANA Database Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in HANA architecture, installation, upgrades, performance tuning, and troubleshooting. This role requires hands-on administration skills, strong analytical abilities, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform message processing, technical incident management, and service/change request management.
• Handle problem management and conduct root cause analysis for major incidents.
• Perform installation, patching, upgrading, and system migrations for SAP HANA.
• Manage performance monitoring, tuning, backup, restore, and point-in-time recovery.
• Ensure system high availability and support disaster recovery setup.
• Configure and manage HANA parameters, audit logs, licenses, traces, and alerts.
• Conduct end-to-end health checks of SAP HANA systems.
• Manage HANA user administration and troubleshoot issues related to memory, CPU utilization, backups, and DB performance.
• Handle P1/P2 incidents and ensure timely resolution within agreed SLAs.
• Provide technical expertise to optimize system operations and architecture.
• Support development of tools and processes to prevent recurring issues and improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with international teams and contribute to documentation and knowledge transfer.
• Conduct internal/external workshops and mentor junior team members.
• Lead shifts when required and support global operations.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong understanding of SAP HANA database architecture.
• Hands-on experience with HANA installation, upgrade, renaming, and MDC/Non-MDC environments.
• Experience with Linux OS fundamentals.
• Proficiency in backup and recovery concepts using traditional and Backint methods.
• Expertise in HANA 2.0 MDC installation, client upgrades, add-on installations, and version upgrades across different SPS levels.
• Ability to monitor and act on alerts from HANA Studio.
• Skilled in troubleshooting HANA outages, slowness, and system hangs.
• Strong analytical, communication, and customer-facing skills.

Qualification

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields;
• OR relevant IT training;OR experienced IT professionals with strong technical affinity.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
