SAP Fiori/UI5 Frontend Developer

Qualifications:

Technical Skills Required:

1. 3+ years of experience in Design, develop, and enhance SAP Fiori/UI5 applications using SAP Web IDE / BAS and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).

2. Develop applications using Fiori Elements with CDS Views, Annotations, and OData services.

3. Work with SAP Gateway / OData to consume and extend SAP services.

4. Customize and extend standard Fiori applications (using Adaptation Projects or Extension).

5. Collaborate with functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into user-friendly UI designs.

6. Ensure applications are responsive, mobile-ready, and aligned with SAP Fiori UX guidelines.

7. Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve performance and technical issues in Fiori/UI5 apps.

8. Follow best practices for version control (Git), code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines.

9. Stay updated on SAP Fiori roadmap, UI5 libraries, and emerging SAP BTP capabilities.

10. Strong expertise in:

• SAPUI5 (JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3) 12. Fiori Elements & Smart Controls
• OData services (creation & consumption)
• CDS Views & Annotations
• Experience in Business Application Studio (BAS).
• Good understanding of SAP BTP (Cloud Foundry, CAP, Launchpad Service).
• Familiarity with SAP Gateway, ABAP on HANA, and backend integration.
• Knowledge of performance optimization, debugging tools, and Fiori design principles.

Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a SAP Fiori/UI5 Frontend Developer.
