Job Description

Position: SAP ABAP Developer

Location: India (Remote)

Contract Position

Sr. ABAP Developer – Core Skills & Experience

5+ years hands-on ABAP development across multiple SAP modules (ECC or S/4HANA).
Strong expertise in ABAP Workbench, ALV reporting, SAP Scripts, SmartForms, Enhancements, BADIs, BAPIs, and Object-Oriented ABAP.
Experience developing and maintaining interfaces, reports, and custom solutions with strong performance tuning skills.
Knowledge of integration technologies: IDocs, RFCs, BAPIs, Web Services.
Familiarity with system upgrades, patching, and technical troubleshooting.
Strong understanding of SAP architecture, data models, and module integrations.
Skilled in technical specifications, documentation, and adherence to SAP development standards.
Excellent problem-solving, code review, and optimization capabilities.
Collaborative team player with the ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities.

Preferred / Nice to Have:

Experience with SAP APO (DP, SNP, PP/DS), CIF, and LiveCache.
Familiarity with CDS Views and OData services.

Education:

Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
