SAP ABAP Consultant

Job Description:

Capita Technologies is currently looking for an SAP ABAP Consultant to be based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Experience: Minimum 8+ years

Responsibilities:

· Strong ABAP development skills, experience in requirement analysis and technical specification writing, collaboration with functional teams, performance optimization of ABAP code, and creation of technical documentation.

· This role involves designing, coding, testing, and implementing custom SAP solutions to meet business needs and best practices within the SAP environment.

· Collaborate with functional consultants and business users to understand and translate business requirements into technical specifications.

· Design, develop, test, and implement custom SAP solutions using the ABAP programming language.

· Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of ABAP solutions with business processes.

· Optimize existing ABAP code for improved performance and efficiency within the SAP environment.

· Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all ABAP developments, facilitating knowledge transfer and future maintenance.

· Ensure all development adheres to SAP best practices.

Qualification and skills:

· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.

· At least 8 years of experience as an SAP ABAP consultant

· Extensive experience in designing, developing, and implementing custom SAP solutions.

· Proficiency in ABAP programming language.

· Experience in translating business requirements into technical specifications.

· Strong understanding of SAP architecture and best practices.

· Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with functional teams. Proficiency in translating business requirements into technical solutions and managing application releases and fixes.

· Team leadership and collaboration with stakeholders skills are vital.

· Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and strong communication skills

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Good verbal and written communication in English.
