Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Salesperson, based in New Delhi. The Salesperson will be responsible for identifying and developing client relationships, generating sales leads, and meeting or exceeding sales targets. Day-to-day tasks include engaging with customers, providing product information, negotiating contracts, and maintaining accurate records of sales and client interactions. The role also involves collaborating with the team to develop effective sales strategies and stay updated on market. Also the sales person would be always on the move state to state travel to universities for promotions, exhibitions & more

Qualifications

• Sales and negotiation skills to actively engage clients and close deals
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain customer relationships
• Basic knowledge of the publishing industry or a willingness to learn
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team-focused environment
• Proficiency in using CRM tools, MS Office, or other sales-related software
• Prior experience in sales or customer-facing roles is an advantage
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field is preferred
• Strong organization, time-management, and problem-solving abilities
