Salesforce Quality Analyst

Role Overview: As a Salesforce QA Engineer at our company, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of Salesforce applications and integrations. Your responsibilities will include analyzing business requirements, creating comprehensive test plans, executing manual and automated testing, collaborating with developers and stakeholders, tracking defects, and continuously improving QA processes. Key Responsibilities: - Test Planning and Design - Analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and technical design documents to create detailed test plans and test cases. - Define and implement test strategies for Salesforce applications, covering functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing. - Test Execution - Perform manual and automated testing of various Salesforce components like Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and custom solutions. - Validate configurations, workflows, and custom development against requirements. - Conduct API testing for integrations with third-party systems. - Automation and Tools - Utilize Salesforce testing tools such as Salesforce Inspector, Workbench, and Apex Test Execution. - Collaboration - Collaborate with developers and Salesforce administrators to debug issues and verify fixes. - Work with business stakeholders to ensure test coverage aligns with business needs. - Defect Tracking and Reporting - Log and track defects using tools like JIRA. - Provide detailed reports and summaries of test results, highlighting areas for improvement. - Continuous Improvement - Stay updated with Salesforce releases and features to adjust testing approaches. - Enhance QA processes by incorporating industry best practices and feedback. Qualification Required: - Education: Bachelors degree in computer science or related field. - Experience: 2+ years of experience in Salesforce testing.
