Job Responsibilities and Skillset

1. Business Requirements Gathering
   
   
   
   • Collaborate with stakeholders (like business teams or managers) to understand what kind of data insights or reports they need.
   
   
   • Translate business needs into technical requirements for analytics.
   
   
   
   


2. Design & Development of Analytics Solutions
   
   
   
   • Create datasets, lenses, dashboards, and stories using Salesforce CRM Analytics (formerly known as Tableau CRM or Einstein Analytics).
   
   
   • These tools help visualize data and provide actionable insights.
   
   
   
   


3. Customization Using SAQL, Dataflows, and Recipes
   
   
   
   • Use SAQL (Salesforce Analytics Query Language) to write custom queries.
   
   
   • Build dataflows to transform and prepare data.
   
   
   • Use recipes for simpler data transformation tasks.
   
   
   
   


4. Data Integration
   
   
   
   • Connect Salesforce Analytics with other systems like:
   
   
   • Salesforce CRM (customer data)
   
   
   • ERP systems (enterprise resource planning)
   
   
   • Third-party apps (e.g., marketing or finance tools)
   
   
   
   


5. Performance Optimization
   
   
   
   • Ensure dashboards and data processing are fast and scalable.
   
   
   • Optimize how data is stored and visualized for better performance.
   
   
   
   


6. Training & Support
   
   
   
   • Help users understand and use the analytics tools effectively.
   
   
   • Provide technical support and conduct training sessions.
   
   
   
   


7. Domain Knowledge
   
   
   
   • Preference for candidates with experience in Manufacturing or Automotive industries, as they ll better understand the business context.

• Strong mix of technical development (building dashboards, writing queries) and analytics (understanding data, deriving insights).
