About the Role We seek a seasoned Salesforce Billing Specialist to support, optimize, and implement Salesforce Billing and CPQ solutions. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of resolving complex billing issues, automating processes, and aligning solutions with industry best practices. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of billing workflows with CPQ, ERP, and payment systems. Key Responsibilities Salesforce Billing & CPQ Implementation Configure and customize Salesforce Billing for subscription management, usage-based pricing, invoicing, and revenue recognition. Provide CPQ solutions for product bundling, pricing rules, and quote generation. Implement automated billing schedules, proration logic, and tax calculations. 2. Support & Troubleshooting Investigate and resolve defects in billing processes (e.g., Usage process, Invoice generation errors, payment allocation issues). Optimize data integrity through validation rules and duplicate management 3.Process Automation Develop flows, process builders, and Apex triggers to automate billing approvals, dunning, and reconciliation. Integrate Salesforce Billing with external payment gateways and ERPs. 4. Best Practices & Optimization Conduct billing audits to identify revenue leakage risks and propose fixes Enforce governance for rate cards, usage grants, and revenue recognition rules. Qualifications 4+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Billing and CPQ. Proficiency in: Billing concepts: Usage summaries, invoice schedulers, credit/debit notes. CPQ features: Amend workflows, Product rules, discount tiers and etc. Automations: Flows, Apex, Lightning Web Components (optional) Prior experience in supporting live billing systems (troubleshooting data sync issues, SLAs). Salesforce Billing Specialist Super badge or CPQ Specialist Certification and Salesforce Administrator or Advanced Administrator. Familiarity with DevOps tools (e.g., VS Code, Git, JIRA, etc.) is a plus.
