We are seeking a highly skilled and technical clinical sales specialist to drive premium workflow solutions for diagnostic and surgical ophthalmology products. This role requires exceptional technical and clinical expertise, consultative selling skills, and a deep understanding of customer needs to deliver value-driven solutions. The successful candidate will engage with ophthalmologists and eye care professionals to drive pre-sales customer engagement, superior technical and clinical discussions, and ultimately, workflow sales.
Pre-Sales Technical & Clinical Consultation: Deliver expert technical guidance and compelling product demonstrations to assist customers in selecting workflow solutions, aligning product benefits with clinical workflows and patient outcomes to drive successful deal closures. • Value-Based Solution Selling: Engage in superior technical and clinical discussions with customers to identify pain points and deliver tailored solutions that drive premiumization and workflow sales.
- Enhance Sales Success Rates: Increase the win probability of sales opportunities through exceptional technical engagement, value-based solution selling, and tailored pre-sales demonstrations that address customer needs and pain points effectively.
- Sales Team Support: Collaborate closely with the sales team to facilitate deal closures by identifying customer requirements, addressing concerns, and showcasing solutions that align with client objectives, ensuring a seamless path to sales conversion with full ownership of premium workflow revenue in assigned territory.
- Opportunity Development: Proactively identify and cultivate new business opportunities through strategic customer interactions, workshops, and partnerships with academic, research, and industrial stakeholders to expand the sales funnel.
• Performance Measurement: Achieve measurable outcomes through key performance indicators, including deal conversion rates, lead generation from activities, and qualitative metrics such as customer satisfaction scores, reflecting both sales impact and client experience. • Stakeholder Relationship Management: Foster and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in academia, research institutions, and industry to promote ZEISS workflow solutions, leveraging referrals to enhance brand reputation and influence buying decisions.
- Product and Workflow Expertise: Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of ZEISS ophthalmic products, emphasizing workflow solutions and premium offerings, while contributing to the development of sales strategies and materials that highlight clinical and operational advantages.
- Industry and Technology Expertise: Stay abreast of emerging industry trends, cutting-edge research applications, and competitive technologies to maintain a strategic edge in positioning ZEISS solutions effectively.
- Post-Sales Collaboration: Partner with the application team to deliver training, application support, and workflow optimization, ensuring high customer satisfaction and maximizing the utilization of ZEISS ophthalmic instruments.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work synergistically with sales, service, and product management teams to develop customized solutions that meet customer needs, ensuring alignment with ZEISS’s strategic objectives and client expectations.
