Job Description

As a Sales Professional at Medtronic, you will play a vital role in promoting and selling Medtronic's products and services within an assigned geographic area and specific customer accounts to meet or exceed sales targets. Your responsibilities will include: - Developing, building, and strengthening long-term relationships with stakeholders such as distributors and healthcare professionals. - Pursuing leads, assessing needs, and providing product services to maximize the benefits derived from Medtronic's products and/or services. - Promoting and establishing education of the company's products and/or services. - Conducting market research including customers and competitors activities. - Implementing market development plans/strategies and making changes as needed. - Communicating customer feedback on new products and/or modifications to internal stakeholders including R&D, Operations, and Marketing. You will be an entry-level sales professional with direct sales responsibilities, selling products and/or services to a group of clients and identifying new and potential customers. Your work will be closely supervised as you maintain relationships and work to achieve individual sales targets within a product area and/or account. You will follow standard sales and business development practices and procedures, recommending changes in account tactics to achieve sales goals and implementing improvements to work processes and procedures. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's degree in Pharma / Engineering / Science. - PG degree in Business Management is preferred. - 1 to 7 years of experience in handling a Concept selling based Therapy. - Exceptional interpersonal skills. - Computer literacy including sound knowledge of the MS Office suite of software. - Willingness to travel extensively. - Ideally demonstrated success in a sales function of technical equipment. Nice to have skills include strong interpersonal skills, market understanding, ability to prioritize and execute business needs, strong analytical skills, leadership skills, and the ability to adapt the business model if needed.
