Role Overview: As a Sales Manager at Schaeffler India Ltd., your primary responsibility will be to carry out all sales activities to achieve defined commercial objectives for an assigned market segment. This includes contributing to the budget planning process, understanding product strategy, consulting clients on product applications, analyzing market trends, and developing customer relationships. You will also be required to align with cross-functional teams, prepare, conduct, and close negotiations on product, quantities, and pricing, as well as monitor and report sales performance metrics for improvement. Key Responsibilities: - Carry out all sales activities to achieve defined commercial objectives for an assigned market segment - Contribute to the budget planning process and plan own revenues and customer prospects - Understand product strategy and consult clients on product applications and variances - Analyze market trends and report on technologies, customers, and competitors - Develop customer relationships and establish acquisition and negotiation boundaries with VLS - Align with cross-functional teams and contribute to budget planning - Prepare, conduct, and close negotiations on product, quantities, and pricing - Monitor and report sales performance metrics for improvement Qualifications Required: - Vocationally trained in Electronics, Engineering with 3 to 5 years of experience OR - Undergraduate Degree in Electronics, Engineering with 3 to 5 years of experience In addition to the above responsibilities and qualifications, as a global company with employees worldwide, Schaeffler values respect, diversity, and innovation.
