Job Description

Sales Manager Yarns

The Sales Manager Yarns will be responsible for driving sales, developing new business opportunities, managing key customer accounts, and ensuring revenue growth in domestic and/or international yarn markets. The role requires strong industry knowledge, customer relationship management skills, and the ability to achieve sales targets while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business targets for yarns (cotton, polyester, viscose, blended, etc.).
  • Identify new market opportunities and expand customer base in domestic and export markets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, distributors, and agents.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to align product offerings.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients to maximize profitability.
  • Coordinate with production, supply chain, and quality teams to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts, reports, and market insights to management.
  • Represent the company at trade fairs, exhibitions, and industry networking events.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, credit controls, and ethical sales practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in

    Textile Technology, Business Administration, Marketing

    , or related field.
  • 3-4 years of proven sales experience in the

    textile/yarn industry

    (spinning, weaving, knitting sector preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of different yarn types, applications, and market dynamics.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-driven environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with ERP/CRM systems is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel extensively (domestic & international).
