Key Responsibilities Develop and execute yarn sourcing strategies (cotton, polyester, viscose, blends). Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers globally and locally. Optimize procurement costs while maintaining quality and compliance. Build strong relationships with mills, suppliers, and agents. Monitor supplier performance and conduct periodic audits. Track global yarn market trends, price movements, and risks. Collaborate with production and planning teams to ensure timely availability. Manage inventory levels and procurement lead times. Ensure compliance with trade regulations and maintain procurement records. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Supply Chain, or Business Administration . 3-4 years of yarn procurement/sourcing experience in textiles, spinning, or apparel industry. Strong knowledge of global yarn markets, suppliers, and price trends. Proven negotiation, cost control, and vendor management skills. Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office . Strong communication skills (English & local language). Preferred Attributes Experience with sustainable sourcing (organic cotton, recycled polyester, eco-viscose). Sales Manager Knitted Fabrics (Exports) Location: Kolkata Experience Required: 3-4 years in export sales (knitted fabrics) Employment Type: Full-time About the Role We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager – Knitted Fabrics (Exports) to lead international sales and grow our global customer base. The role involves developing new export markets, managing key accounts, and achieving sales targets while ensuring smooth order execution and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Drive international sales of knitted fabrics (cotton, polyester, viscose, blends, etc.). Develop new customers in USA, Latin America, Middle East, Africa, and Asia (Sri-Lanka, Bangladesh) Manage pricing, quotations, and negotiations for profitable deals. Build and maintain strong relationships with buyers, buying houses, and agents. Ensure smooth order execution by coordinating with production, logistics, and documentation teams. Monitor market trends, competitors, and export regulations. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Textiles, International Business, or Marketing (MBA preferred). 3-4years of export sales experience in knitted fabrics . Strong network of international buyers (Europe, USA & Asia). Knowledge of export documentation, Incoterms, and trade practices . Excellent English communication & negotiation skills.
