Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and result driven sales professional who will be responsible to acquire and execute transactions with buyers of agricultural produce specially paddy. The position involves end to end responsibility including origination, conversion, relationship management and execution, while ensuring timely payments. Role & responsibilities Originate and engage buyers for a wide range of agricultural produce including but not limited to paddy, wheat, maize, fruits & vegetables. Work closely with the fulfilment team to ensure alignment on quality parameters and pricing of sourcing & selling. Ensure adherence of payment terms with buyers. Own governance of buyers including appropriate documentation and credit instruments. Leverage his / her network to bring in partners that can help scale our buyer base. Develop & maintain strong relationship with stakeholders within and outside the organization. Preferred candidate profile 8+ years of relevant work experience in selling agricultural produce specially paddy. Solution orientation and strong problem-solving skills. Skilled at working effectively with cross functional teams. Strong communication & negotiation skills. Ability to work both independently and with teams. Should be willing to travel extensively.
