Manage rural pickup operations , ensuring smooth coordination from farm-gate to collection centers. Monitor logistics performance metrics (delivery timelines, utilization, cost per ton/km) and implement continuous improvement initiatives. Negotiate transport rates and contracts to balance cost, reliability, and service quality. Collaborate closely with procurement, operations, and tech teams to enhance logistics visibility and efficiency through digital tools and platforms. Ensure compliance with transport regulations, safety standards, and company policies. Preferred candidate profile Bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operations, or related field (MBA preferred). 8 - 10 years of experience managing transport and logistics operations, ideally in agriculture, agritech, FMCG, or rural supply chains . Proven experience working with rural aggregators, transporters, and national logistics partners . Strong understanding of rural infrastructure challenges and ability to design efficient, practical logistics solutions. Data-driven mindset with proficiency in logistics management systems or digital tracking tools. Excellent communication, negotiation, and vendor management skills.
