Role Overview


We are seeking an experienced and driven Sales Manager to lead sales and business development for our Phosphorus, Bromine, and other Key Starting Materials (KSMs) business line. This role focuses on driving growth across sectors such as Agrochemicals, Flame Retardants, Pharmaceuticals, Water Treatment, Food & Beverage, Detergents & Cleaning, Oil & Gas and Batteries & Energy Storage. The Sales Manager will be responsible for building strong client relationships and ensuring sustainable revenue growth for the category.


Key Responsibilities


  • Sales & Business Development

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to grow the phosphorus, bromine, and KSM portfolio.
  • Identify and acquire new customers while deepening relationships with existing accounts.
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and long-term supply agreements to maximize profitability.

  • Market Development & Insights

  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new opportunities.
  • Map industry value chains to position products effectively.
  • Work closely with R&D and technical teams to align solutions with customer requirements.

  • Customer Engagement

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding phosphorus, bromine, and KSM products.
  • Provide technical and commercial support during product evaluations, trials, and approvals.
  • Participate in industry conferences, exhibitions, and customer workshops.

  • Collaboration & Reporting

  • Coordinate with supply chain, production, and regulatory teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and market intelligence to senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with domestic regulatory and quality standards.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor s/Master s in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline; MBA preferred.
  • 6 10 years of experience in sales/business development of specialty chemicals or KSMs.
  • Strong knowledge of phosphorus and bromine chemistry and their applications.
  • Proven track record in achieving sales targets and growing key accounts.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
