Role Description

This is a full-time, role for a Sales Manager at the Malabar Ocean Front Resort & Spa, located in Kasaragod. The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies, leading sales team efforts, building and maintaining client relationships, and achieving revenue goals. Daily tasks include market research, preparing sales reports, negotiating contracts, and ensuring guest satisfaction through effective communication and service delivery.


Key Responsibilities


Develop and execute effective sales and marketing strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market share. Identify and secure new business opportunities, including corporate groups, travel agents, and event organizers. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key accounts to generate repeat business. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients to maximize profitability while maintaining service quality. Conduct market research and analyze trends to identify growth opportunities and competitive positioning. Collaborate with the marketing, operations, and reservations teams to ensure seamless execution of promotions and group bookings. Prepare regular reports on sales performance, forecasts, and budget utilization. Represent the resort at trade fairs, exhibitions, and networking events to promote brand visibility

Qualifications

  • Sales Strategy and Market Research skills
  • Experience in Client Relationship Management and Negotiation
  • Leadership and Team Management skills
  • Strong Communication and Interpersonal skills
  • Relevant experience in the hospitality industry
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
  • Proficiency in multiple languages is advantageous
