Job Overview

We are a fast-growing textile company importing latest home furnishing fabrics from China and supplying to leading home décor, furniture, and interior brands in India. We are looking for an experienced Sales Manager who can independently handle sampling, client development, and order generation for imported fabrics.

The role is highly execution-oriented and requires strong industry relationships, technical fabric understanding, and a proven ability to convert samples into repeat bulk orders.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive B2B sales of imported home furnishing fabrics (upholstery, curtain, drapery, sofa fabrics, etc.)
• Manage end-to-end sampling process:
• – Present fabric collections to brands– Coordinate swatches, sample cut lengths, and trial approvals
• Generate confirmed sales orders from furniture brands, home décor brands, and interior suppliers

• Build and maintain relationships with purchase teams, designers, sourcing heads, and merchandisers
• Actively target leading home décor & furniture brands in India pasted
• Provide market feedback on design trends, price benchmarks, and fabric demand
• Coordinate with internal teams for pricing, dispatches, and payment follow-ups
• Ensure regular client visits and systematic sales reportingMandatory Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in home furnishing fabrics / upholstery / soft furnishings
• Strong exposure to fabric sampling & bulk order conversion
• Existing industry contacts with furniture brands, home décor brands, or interior suppliers
• Excellent knowledge of:
• Fabric constructions
• GSM, yarn types, finishes
• Performance parameters (abrasion, color fastness, durability)
• Comfortable working with imported fabric collections
• Self-driven, target-oriented, and capable of working independently

Preferred Background

• Prior experience with:
• Upholstery fabrics
• Sofa & curtain fabrics
• Imported or high-value fabric lines
• Experience dealing with organized retail brands, D2C brands, or large manufacturers
• Strong presentation and negotiation skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹1,200,000.00 per year
