Job Description

As a Sales Manager at our company, your role will involve effectively establishing and managing client relationships in your market segment. Your primary responsibilities include: - Soliciting new and existing accounts to meet/exceed revenue goals through various methods such as telephone prospecting, sales calls, site inspections, and written communication. - Coordinating and participating in various activities like blitzes, expositions, fairs, familiarization trips, and site inspections to drive sales. - Conducting ongoing industry research to identify market trends and develop new sales and marketing strategies. - Reviewing and enhancing guest history records to provide personalized service for repeat guests. - Ensuring seamless communication between sales and operations departments to meet special group needs. - Monitoring sales, revenues, and expenses to assess goal accomplishments and adjust strategies as needed. - Adapting to competitive set activities and making necessary adjustments. - Providing exceptional service and product quality to create loyalty to the property and brand. - Handling guest and client complaints effectively and implementing preventive measures. - Monitoring quality assurance program scores and guest feedback for continuous improvement. - Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients. - Promoting the organization within the industry and at relevant trade associations. - Maintaining a professional image and representing the brand effectively. - Generating incremental revenue and brand awareness through local events and promotions. - Operating ethically to protect the brand and ensure business initiatives are implemented. - Maintaining confidentiality of guest, employee, and company information. Requirements: Experience, Education, and Certifications: - 3+ years of experience in hospitality management, specifically in a sales role. - Degree/diploma in Hospitality Management or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Skills: - High energy with effective people skills and a positive attitude. - Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects effectively. - Strong communication, listening, and presentation skills. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel-specific platforms. - Fluency in English; additional languages are preferred.
