Job Description

Sales Manager

Role & responsibilities

  • Drive sales growth and profitability of

    flooring products

    through focused engagement with

    government and PSU clients

    .
  • Identify and respond to government tenders, RFPs, and institutional flooring project opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with

    IAS officers, government engineers, procurement departments, and PSU officials

    .
  • Lead the bid process, including technical and commercial submissions for large government flooring projects.
  • Promote the adoption of our flooring solutions in

    healthcare facilities, government buildings, railways, defence, education institutions

    , and other public sector environments.

  • Maintain deep market intelligence on flooring trends, government budgets, competitors, and upcoming tenders.
  • Ensure timely client servicing, post-sale support, and long-term relationship management.
  • Regularly present sales performance, market trends, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Maintain detailed and up-to-date records of all government engagements, tenders, and sales activities.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Minimum 5 years of proven experience in sales, business development, or account managementpreferably in flooring, interior solutions, or infrastructurewith a primary focus on

    government and PSU projects

    .
  • Strong knowledge of

    flooring materials, specifications, and project-based selling

    is essential.
  • Demonstrated success in participating in

    tendering processes and winning government contracts

    .
  • Excellent relationship-building skills, particularly with government officials, procurement heads, and PSU stakeholders.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills with a results-driven mindset.

  • Comfortable working independently and leading cross-functional collaboration.
  • Willingness to travel frequently for government meetings, site visits, and project execution.
  • Proficient in documentation, government portals, and contract/tender management.''
