Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to lead our business development initiatives for flooring products , with a core focus on government departments, PSUs, and tender-driven infrastructure projects . The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of government procurement processes and experience handling large-scale flooring or interior infrastructure solutions, especially in the healthcare and institutional sectors . Role & responsibilities Drive sales growth and profitability of flooring products through focused engagement with government and PSU clients . Identify and respond to government tenders, RFPs, and institutional flooring project opportunities. Build and maintain strong relationships with IAS officers, government engineers, procurement departments, and PSU officials . Lead the bid process, including technical and commercial submissions for large government flooring projects. Promote the adoption of our flooring solutions in healthcare facilities, government buildings, railways, defence, education institutions , and other public sector environments. Maintain deep market intelligence on flooring trends, government budgets, competitors, and upcoming tenders. Ensure timely client servicing, post-sale support, and long-term relationship management. Regularly present sales performance, market trends, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership. Maintain detailed and up-to-date records of all government engagements, tenders, and sales activities. Preferred candidate profile Minimum 5 years of proven experience in sales, business development, or account managementpreferably in flooring, interior solutions, or infrastructure—with a primary focus on government and PSU projects . Strong knowledge of flooring materials, specifications, and project-based selling is essential. Demonstrated success in participating in tendering processes and winning government contracts . Excellent relationship-building skills, particularly with government officials, procurement heads, and PSU stakeholders. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills with a results-driven mindset. Comfortable working independently and leading cross-functional collaboration. Willingness to travel frequently for government meetings, site visits, and project execution. Proficient in documentation, government portals, and contract/tender management.
