About the Role

The role of Manager (Sales) - Inbound is with Holidays (Tours) business of Balmer Lawrie & Co. Ltd. (Brand: Vacations Exotica). Location is Chennai

Objective of the role is to drive the Inbound Tour business by connecting/ visiting FTOs (Foreign Tour Operators) and other aggregators - to market and sell Balmer Lawrie's tour packages for India, to international tourists.

Responsibilities

1.Inbound Tour Operations: visiting FTO on regular basis, Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of inbound tours , ensuring seamless delivery and high customer satisfaction.

2.Supplier Management: Develop and maintain relationships with local suppliers, including hotels, transportation providers, and attractions.

3.Itinerary Planning: Create customized itineraries for inbound tourists, considering factors like budget, interests, and travel style.

4.Cost Control: Monitor and control costs associated with inbound tours, ensuring profitability and competitiveness.

5.Quality Control: Implement quality control measures to ensure high standards of service delivery and customer satisfaction.

6.Team Management: Lead and manage a team of tour coordinators, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure excellent service delivery.

And any other jobs assigned as per business requirement

Qualifications

MTM or equivalent / MBA /Graduate Engineer OR Any Graduate, Bachelor’s Degree (10+2+3)

Candidates with Diploma/MBA in Travel/Tourism may be preferred

Minimum Experience: 6 years for MTM or Equivalent/ MBA/ Graduate Engineer OR 9 years for Bachelor’s degree (10+2+3)

Required Skills

Ability to connect with FTOs (Foreign Tour Operators) and visit or work with them to drive sales of Balmer Lawrie - Vacation Exotica Tour packages directed at foreign tourists, for their visit to India.

Preferred Skills

Candidates with experience in Sales in Travel & Tourism Industry may be preferred

Pay range and compensation package

Selected candidates will be placed on a three-year fixed-term contract. Compensation will be linked to qualification and experience. The selected candidates will also be entitled to eligible Statutory benefits including PF, ESI, (if covered), Bonus as per the Payment of Bonus Act, 1965 (if covered) etc. and Gratuity as per rules.
