As Sales Manager for the India region, you will play a key role in expanding our footprint by acquiring and developing new and existing clients. You will focus on delivering Atradius Collections value proposition to multinational corporations, export credit agencies financial institutions, using a consultative, value-based selling approach to position our services as strategic solutions to credit risk and cash flow challenges.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Business Development
Drive new business acquisition and grow existing accounts within the MNC and ECA sectors. Apply value-based selling techniques to identify client pain points and align Atradius Collections solutions with their strategic goals. Develop and execute sales plans in coordination with the Regional Commercial Manager to meet revenue and profitability targets.
Client Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with key decision-makers and channel partners. Conduct due diligence, review case files, and collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored collection and receivables management solutions. Manage client expectations and ensure high levels of satisfaction and retention.
Internal Collaboration Reporting
Work closely with Operations, Legal, and Credit Insurance teams to ensure seamless service delivery. Maintain accurate and timely updates in the CRM system, including pipeline, forecasts, and case progress. Provide market intelligence and performance feedback to senior management.
Market Engagement Representation
Represent Atradius Collections at industry events, client meetings, and networking functions. Support broker relationships and collaborate with Atradius Credit Insurance colleagues to deliver integrated solutions. Present proposals and solutions to stakeholders at all levels, including clients, intermediaries, and partners. Requirements
- Proven track record in B2B sales, preferably in credit management, financial services, insurance or brokerage industry.
- Strong understanding of the India business environment and regulatory landscape.
- Demonstrated experience in value-based and consultative selling.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Fluent in English and Hindi (spoken and written), other local languages is preferred.
- Self-driven, results-oriented, and able to work independently and collaboratively.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Willingness to travel regularly within pan-India.
- Proficiency in CRM systems (iCare or Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong networking skills and a proactive approach to market engagement.
