The Role An opportunity has arisen to join a dynamic Key Account /New Business Underwriting Team in India as a Key Account & New Business Underwriter. Atradius India is looking for a self-motivated KAU/NBU who will report to the Senior Key Account and New Business Underwriter responsible for the team in India. You will be responsible to manage and deliver first class underwriting service to our most important clients in the region. You will stimulate profitable growth by supporting our key accounts and new business endeavours of our commercial colleagues. Exciting travel opportunities are awaiting the successful candidate when he/she undertakes customer/ broker and partner visits in our region. You will also have the opportunity to work and network with high profile decision makers. Job Description The successful candidate will develop trusting relationships with a portfolio of Key Account customers in the region and business units within the Atradius organization. He/she will need to embrace a holistic approach to credit limit assessment taking account of the commercial environment and customer-specific factors while complying with our internal procedures and governance. The person will be engaged in internal negotiations and escalations to come up with solutions for meeting the business requirements of our customers. He/she will make sharp and quick key account/new business credit decisions as situation demands and delivery top notch services to customers in a timely manner. He/she will be present in meetings, workshops and seminars with our existing and potential customers as well as industry partners for business development and marketing initiatives. The person will need to be on top of the risk environments and maintain good awareness of competition in the industry. What qualification should you have? Required qualifications: Will be a university graduate with a bachelor’s degree or above preferably with a focus in finance, accounting, economics, or business administration. Have a minimum of 3-5 years of Risk Underwriting experience in Credit Insurance. Have a strong customer focus and the ability to interpret client needs and identify solutions to non-standard tasks and queries. Have strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently and under pressure. The candidate will need to be fully competent in own area and share that knowledge with colleagues. Be an open and able communicator both internally and externally Passionate about client-facing function Will be a team player, good listener, and a good communicator; will be able to explain difficult issues clearly and is able to adapt communication style to the audience. We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Recoveries Collections Specialist to join our team. This role is pivotal in managing the recovery of funds for clients, ensuring timely and effective debt resolution. You will be the key interface between clients, debtors, and third-party partners, driving performance and maintaining strong relationships. Key Responsibilities Manage recoveries for debts placed for collection. Conduct first-party and third-party collection calls to recover outstanding debts. Liaise with agencies , legal representatives, and administrators to resolve cases. Contact debtors directly via telephone to negotiate and secure payments. Qualifications Skills Previous experience working in B2B Third Party Collections and handling legal cases background of Credit Insurance Will have previous working experience in all phases of the collection agency business, ideally within the business-to-business environment and preferably in the role of an officer, or the equivalent related experience (ie related experience is experience gained working under a regulated statute (preferably the Collection and Debt Settlement Services Act and related regulations); Strong communication and negotiation skills. Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and prioritize tasks effectively. Familiarity with legal processes related to debt recovery is a plus. Proven negotiation skills, with a sound judgment and ability to assess cost effectiveness of actions Has the ability to work we'll under pressure, prioritise and achieve deadlines.
