Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and driven Sales Lead to lead our business in the E-Rickshaw/ 3 wheeler battery market, with additional responsibility for expanding ESS sales. This role involves strategic leadership, key account management, and execution of national-level sales plans to drive adoption and revenue.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and scale the company’s E-Rickshaw battery sales nationwide through OEMs, fleet operators, distributors, and regional partners.
- Develop and execute sales strategies tailored to the E-Rickshaw segment across rural, semi-urban, and urban markets.
- Build and manage strategic relationships with E-Rickshaw OEMs, assemblers, and aftermarket channel partners.
- Identify and capitalize on new growth opportunities in the ESS segments.
- Collaborate with product, marketing, and R&D teams to tailor offerings for regional and application-specific needs.
- Lead a team of regional sales managers and ensure achievement of monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Stay informed about market trends, competitor activity, government schemes, and customer behavior.
- Negotiate and close high-value deals with a focus on building long-term partnerships.
- Ensure strong customer satisfaction through pre- and post-sales coordination and support.
- Willing to travel extensively across India to build networks, support sales teams, and engage with clients.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade fairs, and government forums to enhance visibility and outreach.
Skills Required
- 8–10 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in E-Rickshaw, EV, battery, or energy-related sectors.
- Proven leadership in managing nationwide accounts and dealer/distributor networks.
- Strong understanding of the E-Rickshaw market landscape & experience in ESS markets and applications is a strong advantage.
- Strategic thinker with hands-on execution capabilities and strong commercial acumen.
- High mobility and adaptability to fast-paced, growth-stage environments.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and team management skills.
