Position: Sales Head (Head Sales & Marketing) Location: Corporate Office β Kolkata Industry: Renewable Energy / Solar Solutions Experience: Minimum 20 years Qualification: MBA/PGDM in Sales & Marketing Compensation: Up to βΉ50 LPA Role Overview: As the Sales Head, you will lead strategic sales and marketing initiatives to drive revenue growth, market share, and customer satisfaction. This role emphasizes accountability, team alignment, and result-driven execution in the renewable energy sector. Key Responsibilities: β Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies aligned with company revenue and growth objectives. β Identify and convert high-value business opportunities, especially in B2B renewable energy solutions. β Lead market research and competitive analysis to refine go-to-market strategies. β Drive customer-centric initiatives and foster long-term client relationships. β Collaborate with marketing, technical, and project teams to ensure seamless project delivery. β Lead, mentor, and motivate a distributed sales and marketing team with clear KPIs and performance benchmarks. β Oversee sales budgets, marketing spend, and financial alignment with company goals. β Ensure operational excellence through process improvements and gap analysis. Must-Have Requirements: β Minimum 20 years of progressive experience in sales and marketing , with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the renewable energy sector (solar-DG hybrid systems, smart metering, or distributed energy projects). β MBA/PGDM in Sales & Marketing from a recognized institution. β Proven success in B2B solution sales , particularly in telecom, banking, oil marketing, or government sectors. β Expertise in market analysis, competitive landscape mapping , and driving customer-focused strategies. β Demonstrated ability to lead and manage distributed sales and marketing teams with financial accountability. β Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. β Strong background in driving outcome-based performance and achieving revenue targets in a fast-paced, innovative environment. β Experience with distributed infrastructure projects , including smart meter rollouts, is a strong plus.
