Job Description

greeting customers, assessing their needs, and guiding them through the vehicle selection process. They are responsible for demonstrating vehicle features, conducting test drives, and negotiating sales deals and financing options. Key duties also involve processing paperwork, following up with customers, meeting sales targets, and staying up-to-date on product knowledge.  Responsibilities Customer engagement: Greet customers entering the showroom or lot, and use professional and courteous communication to build rapport.  Needs assessment: Understand and assess customer needs, preferences, and budget to recommend suitable vehicle models.  Vehicle demonstration: Present and explain the features, benefits, and specifications of new and used vehicles.  Test drives: Conduct test drives to allow customers to experience the vehicle's performance and handling.  Sales and negotiation: Negotiate pricing and financing options to meet customer needs and close sales deals.  Paperwork and finance: Prepare and process all necessary sales paperwork and coordinate with the finance department for final transactions.  Customer follow-up: Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and address any post-sale concerns, while also building relationships for future sales and referrals.  Sales targets: Achieve and exceed monthly and yearly sales targets and goals set by the dealership.  Product knowledge: Maintain and update knowledge of current vehicle models, features, and industry trends.  Showroom maintenance: Assist with showroom organization and maintenance to create an appealing environment.  Requirements Education: A high school diploma is typically required, with some positions preferring an Associate's degree.  Experience: Previous sales experience, particularly in the automotive industry, is often preferred.  Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills are essential for building customer relationships and closing deals.  Knowledge: Must have sound knowledge of current vehicle inventory and be able to compare features and pricing with competing models.
