Ultramarine & Pigments Ltd Thirumalai House, Plot No. 101-102, Road No. 29, Sion(East), Mumbai 400022, India Job Title: Business Development Executive Personal Care Segment Location: Mumbai Experience Required: 2 to 7 years (Immediate Joiners) Education: Preferred: B.Tech/M.Tech in Cosmetics, B.Pharm, BSc/MSc in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related sciences Note: Relaxation may be considered for exceptionally deserving candidates Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Executive with a strong background in B2B sales within the Personal Care industry . The ideal candidate will bring a combination of technical knowledge and commercial acumen , with proven experience in launching new products, handling specialty chemicals, and developing strong customer relationships in the hair care and skin care domains. This is a high-impact role aimed at driving business growth through strategic partnerships, customer engagement, and market intelligence. Key Responsibilities: B2B Sales & Market Development: Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities in the personal care industry (Hair care, Skin care). Build and maintain strong relationships with formulators, R&D heads, procurement professionals, and other stakeholders in the target segment. Product Launch & Technical Support: Support the launch of new specialty chemicals and cosmetic ingredients in the Indian personal care market. Work closely with the R&D and application teams to understand product functionalities and deliver customized solutions to clients. Provide technical presentations and product demonstrations to clients. Customer and Market Intelligence: Stay abreast of market trends, customer preferences, competitor activities, and regulatory updates in the personal care domain. Leverage insights to advise internal teams and contribute to product development and marketing strategies. Network Utilization: Utilize existing industry contacts and networks to accelerate business growth. Engage and collaborate with stakeholders from Multi-Level Marketing (MLM) companies where applicable. Reporting and Coordination: Prepare and present regular sales forecasts, performance reports, and strategic plans to management. Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Marketing, Technical, and Supply Chain to ensure end-to-end customer satisfaction. Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel frequently for client meetings, exhibitions, and technical seminars. Candidate Requirements: 2 to 7 years of relevant B2B sales experience in the personal care or specialty chemicals sector. Strong techno-commercial orientation with the ability to understand both product science and market dynamics. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and launching new products. Familiarity with key players in the personal care industry and ability to tap into existing networks. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Fluency in English and Hindi (spoken and written). Preferred: Experience with MLM (Multi-Level Marketing) companies or products in the personal care domain. Exposure to formulating or working closely with formulators/R&D teams. Knowledge of international trends and innovations in personal care ingredients.
