Role Overview

Academic/Admission Counselors

Key Responsibilities

• Student Counseling:

  Engage with students and working professionals to understand their needs and recommend suitable courses/programs.

• Sales Target Achievement:

  Achieve monthly enrollment targets through consultative sales.

• Lead Management:

  Follow up on leads via calls, WhatsApp, emails, and other channels.

• Product Knowledge:

  Stay updated with program offerings to deliver accurate and compelling information.

• CRM Updates:

  Maintain timely and accurate records of interactions and follow-ups.

• Objection Handling:

  Address and resolve candidate concerns effectively.

• Relationship Building:

  Build long-term connections with learners for future engagement.

• Team Collaboration:

  Work closely with marketing, academic, and support teams for smooth operations.

Requirements

• Experience:

  Minimum 1 year in academic counseling, tele-sales, or inside sales (EdTech experience preferred).

• Education:

  Any graduate (background in counseling, education, or business is a plus).

• Skills:

• Excellent verbal & written communication in English (knowledge of additional languages is an advantage)
• Strong persuasion, negotiation, and objection-handling skills
• Tech-savvy with knowledge of CRM tools, MS Office, and online communication platforms
• Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
