Job Description

Job Title: Area Sales Executive – IT / Computer Hardware Sales

Location: [Garhwal region ]
Industry: IT Products & Computer Hardware
Reporting To: Business Head

Job Summary

The Area Sales Executive – IT / Computer Hardware Sales will be responsible for driving sales of IT products such as desktops, laptops, servers, networking equipment, peripherals, and accessories within the assigned territory. The role involves dealer management, corporate sales, and achieving revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sell IT & computer hardware products (desktops, laptops, networking products, accessories, etc.)
  • Develop and manage dealer, reseller, and system integrator network
  • Generate corporate, institutional, and government sales leads
  • Conduct regular market visits and product demonstrations
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
  • Prepare quotations, negotiate pricing, and close orders
  • Follow up on order execution, delivery, and payment collection
  • Track competitor pricing, schemes, and new product launches
  • Maintain customer database and daily sales activity reports
  • Coordinate with OEMs and distributors for pricing, schemes, and stock availability

Products Exposure (Preferred)

  • Desktop & Laptop Brands ( Dell, Lenovo, Asus, etc.)
  • Servers & Workstations
  • Networking Products (Switches, Routers, Wi-Fi Devices)
  • Storage, UPS, Printers, CCTV, and IT Accessories

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Graduate / Diploma in any discipline (IT preferred)
  • 1–4 years of experience in IT / computer hardware sales
  • Strong understanding of computer hardware and IT products
  • Good communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work in field sales and achieve targets
  • Basic knowledge of MS Excel, email, and CRM systems
  • Two-wheeler with valid driving license (mandatory)
