Sales Estimator

As a Sales Estimator at a renowned company in Saudi Arabia, your role will involve preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates and technical proposals for mechanical projects within the industrial petrochemical, oil, and gas sectors. You will need to have a strong technical understanding of mechanical systems, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with sales, engineering, and clients to secure new business opportunities. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for projects by analyzing blueprints, technical drawings, project specifications, and other relevant documents. - Create comprehensive and competitive commercial and technical proposals that align with customer requirements and company policies. - Communicate effectively with clients to understand project scope, clarify specifications, and present proposals. This includes attending pre-bid meetings and conducting site visits. - Solicit and evaluate bids from subcontractors and suppliers for materials, equipment, and services. Negotiate costs to ensure competitive pricing. - Collaborate closely with sales, engineering, and project management teams to ensure a clear understanding of project scope and execution strategy. - Identify potential risks, opportunities, and cost-saving measures during the estimation process. Analyze completed projects to refine future estimating practices. - Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor pricing to optimize strategies. - Manage project documentation, maintain a cost database, and prepare regular reports on estimation activities for management. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree or technical diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field. - Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience in mechanical estimation for major industrial projects. - Proven experience in the petrochemical, oil, and gas sectors, with knowledge of industry standards and codes such as API and ASME.,
