Job Description

As a Sales Engineer at Trend, you will play a crucial role as the technical bridge between Sales Representatives and pre-sales customers. Your expertise as a Trend Micro product specialist will be instrumental in guiding customers and prospects in selecting and deploying Trend Micro Next-Gen security solutions. You will collaborate closely with the Sales team to develop customer relationships, provide leadership in security architecture, and influence customers" technical strategies with your strong problem-solving skills. Your responsibilities include: - Understanding the customer journey with the product and ensuring a smooth navigation experience - Focusing on customer success throughout the engagement, onboarding, and product experience journey - Training and supporting the sales organization to enhance their selling capabilities - Staying updated on emerging cyber security ecosystem partners like SOC services partners, CSPs, and MSSPs - Collaborating with channel partners to upscale and train them for better customer engagement - Providing regular updates on new products and technologies to internal sales staff - Working closely with Regional/Global Product Managers and Product Marketing Managers to stay informed about the latest product/technology advancements - Delivering engaging technical demonstrations to showcase the advantages and benefits of Trend Micro products - Empowering partners and channels to propose, position, and convince customers with our products and solutions - Presenting complex technical issues and solutions to all levels of an organization in a clear and engaging manner - Applying strong problem-solving skills to design solutions that address customer problems - Conducting training sessions for customers and prospects on Trend Micro solutions - Collaborating with company technical support personnel to ensure ongoing quality support and customer health - Contributing to departmental best practices, strategies, methodologies, and documentation for increased efficiencies - Engaging in continuous self-improvement and learning to stay updated with current technical knowledge and participate in technical communities of interest Your experience should include: - Rich experience in delivering high-quality presales support and solutions that bring unique value to customers - Strong understanding and knowledge of SOC operations, security analytics capabilities, cloud architecture, SASE, CASB, and Zero Trust model - Knowledge and understanding of Microsoft O365, Azure, Google, AWS services - Exposure to security software solutions such as Firewall, Content Security, Intrusion Prevention, Encryption, Data Leakage, Data Protection, and Monitoring Security - Good written and spoken communication skills in English - A strong interest in all aspects of cybersecurity and a passion for customer security - Excellent understanding of public cloud technologies such as AWS and Azure Join Trend Micro and be a part of a global family that embraces change, empowers people, and encourages innovation.
