Job Description

As our Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for the technical aspects of the sales cycle, including researching, preparing and presenting technical product training for Axis video surveillance products. This role requires travel across the India SAARC region, South Asia Pacific, and international locations for meetings, events, and training sessions. This position is based in Mumbai, India. Why You'll Love This Role You are passionate about technology and creating solutions that drive sales growth across the territory You enjoy collaborating with Axis Regional Sales Managers (RSMs) to support pre- and post-sales opportunities You are great at communicating and building relationships with both internal and external stakeholders Key responsibilities will include: Deliver product demonstrations and provide technical assistance to internal and external stakeholders throughout the sales process Support distributors and resellers with technical presales guidance Collaborate with integrators and software development partners during project sales Create technical presales material Lead Axis Academy technical training courses for resellers and partners Manage and maintain company's demo products and Axis Experience Centre (AEC) Identify new business opportunities through partner engagement Maintain relationships with selected ecosystem partners Collaborating with Sales and Marketing teams for Axis & Partner Events Perform other duties as assigned Qualification and Experience Bachelor's degree with at least 3 years of work experience in a similar role, preferably in CCTV network security with expertise in network video solutions Proven pre-sales experience in the IT channel within a multinational environment Experience with video surveillance systems, audio network products, access control systems, and VMS software/hardware would be an advantage Strong presentation and demonstration skills for audiences at all levels Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Knowledge of networking, IP-based technologies, and applications, with expertise in network infrastructure and cybersecurity Industrial certification from CISCO, Nortel Networks, Microsoft and with technical experience from CCTV business preferred Important skills, abilities, knowledge for this role: Self-motivated, hands-on, and able to work independently Strong organizational skills with ability to handle multiple tasks Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Open to learn new technologies and skills Results-driven with strong sales focus Collaborative team player Show more Show less
