Job Description

Job Title: Senior Sales Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with EPC/MEP contractors, OEMs, reputed consultants, and end-user customers across Tamil Nadu and Kerala.
  • Identify, qualify, and promote industrial automation products to potential customers.
  • Expand the customer base through segmentation and actively approach new prospects in the assigned territory.
  • Visit a minimum of 4–6 relevant customers daily, depending on the allocated territory.
  • Understand and assess client requirements for automation engineering solutions.
  • Provide technical support, including application guidance, product selection, and cross-referencing based on customer needs.
  • Offer product information and conduct on-site demonstrations for customers.
  • Coordinate with internal design and application teams to deliver solutions and support complex engineering studies.
  • Drive sales of industrial automation products to OEMs, EPC contractors, and end users.
  • Consistently achieve monthly and yearly sales targets while maintaining healthy profit margins.
  • Contribute to business growth and increased market share through effective sales strategies.
  • Prepare daily visit reports, weekly sales reviews, and update activities in the CRM tool as per policy.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams to support organizational goals.

Skills / Knowledge:

  • Proven experience in direct sales to OEMs, EPC contractors, and end-user customers.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial automation systems, LV applications, and related products, preferably German/European brands.
  • Familiarity with industrial automation panels and related applications.
  • Energetic, self-driven, and result-oriented with excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and work collaboratively across functions.
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting individual sales targets.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Power Electronics Engineering (four-year) OR Diploma from a recognized technical institute (three-year).
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales of LV applications, industrial automation, or related projects

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
