Senior Tool Designer Experience: Minimum 5 years Education: Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field Job Summary: We are seeking experienced Tool Designers to join our team in the automotive sector . You will be responsible for designing tools, dies, and patterns specifically for Gravity Die Casting processes. This role involves working closely with the pattern shop and foundry teams to develop efficient, durable, and cost-effective tooling solutions. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop tools, dies, and patterns for gravity die casting. Use Creo software to create and modify 3D models and technical drawings. Collaborate with production, quality, and pattern shop teams to ensure smooth implementation of tool designs. Optimize tool design for manufacturability, durability, and cost-effectiveness. Perform feasibility studies and troubleshoot issues with existing tooling. Interpret and work with technical drawings and specifications. Required Skills: Proficient in Creo and 3D modeling. Strong understanding of gravity die casting and related tooling. Knowledge of pattern shop operations and foundry processes. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints . Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in the automotive manufacturing industry. Familiarity with metal casting materials and processes. Understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) and simulation tools.
