JOB DESCRIPTION

TITLE:

REPORTS TO:

SCOPE OF POSITION:

This individual is responsible for managing an assigned group of Accounts. Define and implements an account plan for each customer which achieves specific sales, margin and profit goals. Additionally, this individual will be responsible for selling the full breadth of products on the BBSI line card.

OBJECTIVES:

  • To assist the branch in growing market share.
  • To increase line card penetration in assigned account base.
  • Own and deploy account strategy.
  • Meet sales, design and profit objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

INTERNAL

  • Understand and propose BBSI value proposition and engineering solutions.
  • Understand customer financial position and current credit status.
  • Recognize, qualify and pursue sales opportunities.
  • Utilize and communicate with internal and external resources( Rep /Suppliers , FAE, ISRs and Management)
  • Maintain Design Tracker and associated database for the assigned account.
  • Understand and maximize the BBSI profitability.
  • Remain current with Industry trend and technology.
  • Mentor & Guidance to Direct Reportees.( Team Members )
  • Manage performance , activities ,set tasks , set MBO of team members.

CUSTOMER

  • Develop & implement account plans utilizing all appropriate resources.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of customers products and customer’s direction and of our competitors as well as our customer’s competition.
  • Understand customer’s issues, objectives and needs.
  • Identify and develop relationship with key decision makers in the customer’s organization.
  • Identify Bill of material by account and cross reference wherever possible.
  • Continue to understand the purchasing habits of customers.
  • Continue to improve market share position at accounts.
  • Improve BBSI positioning against the competition at customers.

SUPPLIER

  • Maintain and understand how supplier’s product fit within the customers need
  • Develop and enhance supplier relationships
  • Leverage exclusive franchise

SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Should have experience in handling team ( 2-10 people )
  • Understand and employ associated selling techniques for Marketing of Electronic Components .
  • Established Business Relationship with OEM’s, ODM’s and Design Houses in Defense / Military / Aeropsace Industry /Power / Traction / Automotive / Solar / Energy Metering / Industrial / LED / Electric Vehicle / White Goods.
  • Techno Commercial Experience of Selling Electronic Components / Semiconductor Components.
  • Communication, time management, organizational and negotiation skills.
  • PC proficient.
  • Team player.
  • Sound technical knowledge on system solutions and end system marketing.
