JOB DESCRIPTION TITLE: Product Manager / Regional Product Manager REPORTS TO: Director SCOPE OF POSITION: This individual is responsible for managing specific supplier relationships and performance to mutually agreed upon goals relating to Sales, Gross Profit Percent, Design Win and Account base expansion. This person provides the primary single point of contact between the Supplier and BBSI and in doing so is responsible for understanding all Supplier issues, direction and priorities. This person will create and execute plans to drive the product lines and provide a competitive advantage for BBSI. OBJECTIVES: Meet and exceed pre-determined sales expectations/budgets agreed with the Suppliers. Meet and exceed pre-determined Design-win expectations agreed with the Suppliers. RESPONSIBILITIES: Managing supplier relationships and performance of franchised lines on sales revenue, Design-win expectations and Gross profit margins. Manage the right level and inventory mix to support the target business growth. Work with the suppliers to secure a competitive cost structure to assist sales teams to close business. Develop overall strategy with the supplier that achieves mutually agreed upon business objectives and drive the sales & FAE organization for execution. Develop marketing plans for key franchise lines to drive and track business levels and performance. Ensure that suppliers budgets and expectations are met. Work with the suppliers to maintain a high level of visibility in our branch offices. Work with all relevant parties (Sales, FAE, and suppliers) to drive demand creation activities in India. Act as a central point of contact between the supplier and BBSI on all major issues. Provide the field with relevant sales tools to assist in product promotion. Develop Marcom activities to drive sales in collaboration with key suppliers. SKILL REQUIREMENTS: Understand and employ associated selling techniques for Marketing of Electronic Components . Established Business Relationship with OEMs, ODMs and Design Houses in Power / Traction / Automotive / Solar / Energy Metering / Industrial / LED / Electric Vehicle / White Goods / Defense / Military / Aeropsace Industry. Techno Commercial Experience of Selling Electronic Components / Semiconductor Components. Communication, time management, organizational and negotiation skills. PC proficient. Team player. Sound technical knowledge on system solutions and end system marketing. COMPENSATION: Fixed Salary Based on Skills & Experience, mostly above average and above market.
