The ideal candidate will have over 15 years of proven experience in technology-driven solutions and will be responsible for new account farming and hunting. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, sales acumen, and technical expertise to drive business growth and establish long-lasting relationships with clients. Key Responsibilities: New Account Farming & Hunting: Identify and engage new business opportunities within the IoT, Embedded Systems, and solutions market. Develop and execute strategic account plans to penetrate new markets and generate sales leads. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to facilitate business growth. POC Engagement & Supplier Management: Lead the development and execution of Proof of Concept (POC) initiatives to showcase product capabilities and solutions to potential clients. Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to ensure successful POC outcomes and manage ongoing supplier relationships. Provide insights and feedback to improve product offerings based on client needs and market trends. Technical Demonstrations: Conduct engaging product demos and presentations in technical shows, webinars, and client meetings to effectively communicate the value of solutions. Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to understand product features and the latest technological advancements. Market Research & Strategy: Conduct market research to identify industry trends and competitive landscape, formulating go-to-market strategies accordingly. Monitor and report on sales performance metrics, providing regular updates to management and making recommendations for improvement. Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with marketing, product management, and customer success teams to ensure a cohesive approach to business development. Maintain clear and accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and account status using CRM tools. Qualifications: Education: Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field. An MBA is a plus. Experience: Minimum of 10+ years of demonstrated success in IoT, SoC, or Embedded Systems. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving business growth through new account acquisition. Skills: Strong technical knowledge of software solutions and the technology landscape. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to build and maintain customer relationships in a B2B setting. Personal Attributes: Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
