Job Description

As a Sales Capability Development Manager at Plum, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the sales capabilities of our team to ensure a delightful experience for our customers. Your responsibilities will include: - Designing and rolling out training modules for Sales Officers (SOs), Area Sales Managers (ASMs), and frontline field force, covering induction, functional, and refresher training. - Collaborating with HR and Regional Sales Managers (RSMs) to conduct capability gap analysis and identify areas for improvement. - Implementing structured on-the-job coaching tools and tracking mechanisms to support continuous learning and development. In terms of Performance Management, you will be expected to: - Take ownership of driving sales Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as distribution, call productivity, strike rate, and bill cut efficiency through data-driven reviews. - Developing and institutionalizing performance trackers, dashboards, and scorecards at both regional and national levels. Your role will also involve working on Go-To-Market (GTM) Projects, where you will: - Support the GTM strategy by ensuring effective implementation at the frontlines. - Align internal stakeholders such as Marketing, Trade Marketing, and Supply Chain Management for seamless sales interventions. - Lead pilots for productivity enhancement, including cluster models and beat optimization. Additionally, you will be responsible for: - Standardizing Sales Operating Processes (SOPs) across zones/regions to ensure consistency and efficiency. - Collaborating with IT/Tech teams for the automation and digitization of sales tools such as DMS and Bizom. - Ensuring adoption and compliance of sales systems across the hierarchy. Qualifications & Experience: - MBA from Tier 1 or Tier 2 Institutes. - 4 to 8 years of experience with expertise in Go-To-Market (GTM), Sales Strategy, and Field Execution in previous roles. - Strong understanding of GT/MT operations, field realities, and sales automation tools.
