Job Summary

The Sales Coordinator will support the Sales Team in driving the corporate car-rental business across Africa. The role involves managing client communication, coordinating bookings, preparing proposals, and ensuring smooth operational flow. The position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to efficiently handle client requirements using company tools, apps, and technology platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Support & Coordination

  • Assist the sales team in generating leads, scheduling meetings, and following up with potential clients.
  • Prepare and share quotations, proposals, and corporate rental packages.
  • Maintain updated records of sales activities, client inquiries, and interactions.
  • Coordinate with the Operations Team to ensure vehicle availability, driver allocation, and timely service delivery.

Client Communication & Relationship Management

  • Handle client calls, emails, and inquiries professionally.
  • Share booking confirmations, invoices, and service updates with clients.
  • Support corporate clients with premium and luxury car rental requirements.
  • Address customer concerns and escalate issues to relevant departments when required.

Operational Coordination

  • Use the company booking portal/app to create bookings, update trip details, and monitor ride status.
  • Coordinate on-time arrivals, delays, and breakdown notifications.
  • Collaborate with the Fleet and Operations Team for GPS tracking, driver assignment, and SOS escalations.
  • Ensure proper roster sharing and passenger locating through the driver’s app.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
  • Maintain contracts, agreements, and invoice records for corporate clients.
  • Support the Finance Team with multi-currency payment tracking and simplified invoicing.

Skills & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in sales coordination, customer service, or the travel/mobility sector preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with booking portals/apps or CRM software is an advantage.
