Sales Business Development Manager

As a Sales Business Development Manager at Master Marine Services Pvt. Ltd. (MMSPL), you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing effective sales strategies to generate new business opportunities in the marine cargo domain. Your responsibilities will include identifying and targeting potential clients engaged in container survey, lashing and chocking, ODC (Over Dimensional Cargo), and third-party marine cargo surveys. Building and nurturing strong relationships with customers to ensure high levels of client satisfaction will be a key part of your role. You will be expected to conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities. Collaborating with internal teams to tailor service offerings based on client needs, preparing and delivering proposals, quotations, and participating in contract negotiations are essential aspects of the job. Meeting and exceeding sales targets and performance KPIs will be critical to your success in this position. To qualify for this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field and have 6-15 years of proven experience in Sales/Business Development within the marine cargo or logistics industry. A strong understanding of container surveys, lashing and chocking operations, ODC cargo handling, and third-party marine surveys is required. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills are essential, along with a self-motivated, target-driven, and result-oriented approach to your work. This position is based in Mundra, and you must be willing to travel across the South region for business opportunities. The job type is full-time, with a day shift schedule. Proficiency in English is preferred, and the work location is in person.
