Job Description

A Sales Officer is expected to take care of new leads in the both domestic and global market and convert them into customers by conveying TGP's value propositions. The main function of a manager will be to help formulate and execute the B2B sales strategies while making customers aware about the benefits which can enable them to switch on eco-friendly material.

Company Description


TGP Bioplastics Pvt. Ltd, a company funded and recognized by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and DST, Govt. of India. TGP is manufacturing compostable plastic packaging having production capacity of 800 MT/Annum. TGP Bioplastics has grown 12x in the first operational year of FY2024-25. It is expected to grow 10x in next two years due to rapid adoption of the eco-friendly alternatives across the industries. TGP has filed 3 patents in last FY and will be filing 3 more in the FY 2025-26.


TGP Bioplastics is innovating continuously developed different compostable plastic grades with the global scale up potential. TGP is building strong foundational team to achieve the vision of sustainable packaging alternatives.


TGP’s packaging materials approved by CPCB and designed to meet industrial mechanical properties standards while reducing environmental impact. This plastic degrades by biological process in the industrial composting without leaving any toxic residue and microplastics behind. Currently, TGP is supplying this compostable packaging to Mahindra & Mahindra, Century Enka (Aditya Birla Group), Kalyani Technoforge, Subros and vendors of John Deere, TATA Motors, Kirloskar.


Responsibilities


1. Identify and pursue new business opportunities in B2B Sales. 


2. Generate leads, schedule meetings, and convert prospects. 


3. Participating in Expo and other business conventions.


4. Routine customer visits, customer support and establishing a strong relationship with the customers. 


5. Collaborate with the production and supply chain team for demand planning and scheduling. 


Requirements and Skills


1. Good Listener 

2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills 

3. Basic understanding of digital marketing tools (Google Ads, Meta Business Suite, SEO tools, etc.)
