Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Sales and Operations Manager to oversee the sales strategies and day-to-day operational functions of our hotel. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in the hotel or hospitality industry, with a strong understanding of both sales techniques and hotel operations. This role plays a crucial part in driving revenue, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and optimizing internal processes.

Key Responsibilities:Sales Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to increase room bookings, event sales, and banquet business.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agents, event planners, and OTA partners.
  • Manage RFPs, group bookings, and long-term corporate accounts.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor performance to adjust pricing and promotional strategies.
  • Coordinate with the marketing team for campaigns, promotions, and social media activities.
  • Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis for management.

Operations Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate front office, housekeeping, food & beverage, and other operational departments to ensure smooth daily functioning.
  • Monitor guest feedback and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with department heads to maintain service quality and operational efficiency.
  • Implement and oversee standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure service consistency.
  • Assist in budgeting, cost control, and resource allocation.

Team & Leadership:

  • Lead and mentor the sales and operations team to meet departmental goals.
  • Conduct regular team meetings, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Promote a positive work environment focused on teamwork, efficiency, and service excellence.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role within the hotel or hospitality industry.
  • Strong knowledge of hotel sales processes, booking systems, and operational workflows.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in hotel management software (e.g., Opera, IDS, or similar) and MS Office.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) and banquet sales.
  • Familiarity with revenue management principles.
  • Strong understanding of guest satisfaction metrics and hospitality standards.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
